MBEM offers a Summer Experience, at Terra Nova School, an excellent prep school in the English countryside, with academic lessons, excursions, challenges, outdoor experiences and individually targeted support.
Designed by our team of experienced educators, with their first-hand experience of students from all over the world, particularly China, the MBEM Summer School Experience is designed to develop students who are in, or wish to be successful in, an International or British school.
Full of challenge, cultural experience, academic skill development, development of Academic English skills, C.A.L.P and healthy outdoor sessions MBEM’s Summer school Experience will improve confidence and awarness of the possibilities in English education.
While many centres offer activities and trips to tourist locations MBEM design summer experiences which combine excitement and fun with targeted learning.
- Trips include small and medium challenges.
- Students are asked to plan and design solutions.
- Workshop and individual sessions are targeted at the specific needs of individual students following assessment before they arrive.
- Activities require students to work in teams, to cooperate, show leadership and develop self reliance.
- All sessions, trips and activities involve time for awareness of the skills acquired.
- Relaxed evening sessions in which quality games and other recreational activities will be encouraged.

- Students are expected to make contributions in discussion, to ask, question, offer informed opinions and make suggestions.
- Since we operate with small groups our students receive individual attention, feel more secure and are encouraged to come forward.
